Conrad and Heidi Hertzler

Conrad stepped into leadership here at Fairview in September 2016.

Conrad was born in Delaware but spent most of his life on the mission field in northwest Ontario. He attended Moody Bible Institute where he was trained to be a missionary pilot/mechanic. Conrad, Heidi, and their three children were missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship for 9 years and served in Mozambique, Africa before coming to serve in Iowa. Conrad enjoys reading, riding motorcycle, and making wooden pens.

Conrad’s favorite verse: Lamentations 3: 22-24 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”

Heidi grew up in the Kalona area. She attended college in Wisconsin where she received her degree in Elementary Education. She is currently homeschooling their children. Heidi enjoys photography, reading, scrapbooking, writing, speaking for women’s groups, and sewing.

Heidi’s favorite verse: Psalms 139:5 “You (Lord) go before and behind me, You place your hand of blessing on my head.”
